Who Can Benefit from a Medical Facial
A medical facial suits anyone whose skin needs more than a spa facial can give, with the plan set after a skin analysis. We choose between three facials based on what your skin needs most.
| Facial | Best for |
|---|---|
| Acne Facial | Congested, oily or breakout-prone skin; blackheads and whiteheads |
| HydraBoost Facial | Dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin, and skin recovering after acne |
| PowerLift Facial | Dull skin and early loss of firmness |
It also works well as maintenance between laser or injectable treatments, and before an event. Severe, painful cystic acne usually needs medical treatment first; we will advise you at the consultation.
Frequently asked questions about medical facials
How is a medical facial different from a spa facial?
It uses clinical-grade products and devices, such as LED light, ultrasound-assisted hydration and radiofrequency, chosen after a doctor’s skin analysis.
Which facial is right for me?
We decide together at your skin analysis. Many patients start with one focus, such as acne, then move to hydration or firming as the skin improves.
Can I have a facial with active acne?
Yes, the Acne Facial is designed for it. Very inflamed or cystic acne may need medical treatment alongside it.
Will my skin be red afterwards?
Some pinkness is normal and usually settles within a few hours.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Yes, you can wear makeup straight away.
How often should I come?
Every 3 to 4 weeks gives the most consistent results.
We also have a dedicated page for open pores.
