Scar Subcision

Treatment Overview

Scar subcision is a technique used to treat depressed acne scars. It works by breaking the fibrous bands that tether the skin down, allowing the surface to lift and collagen to regenerate naturally.

how it works

A fine, sterile needle is inserted beneath the scar. The fibrous bands anchoring the scar to deeper tissue are gently released. This not only lifts the scar but also creates controlled micro-injury that stimulates the skin’s healing and collagen production.
