Who Can Benefit
Stretch marks are tears in the deeper skin that heal thin and with less collagen. Collagen-building boosters, mainly Juvelook and Plinest, are injected into the marks to thicken the skin and improve its texture and elasticity, so the marks blend better with the surrounding skin.
- Newer red, pink or purple stretch marks, which respond best
- Older white or silver marks, which improve more slowly
- Thin, crepey skin around the marks
- Marks on the abdomen, thighs, hips, arms or breasts
Boosters improve the texture of the marks and the scarring beneath them. For the best result we often combine them with PicoWay laser, Fotona laser or Matrix RF microneedling. We plan this at your consultation.
We postpone treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding, on broken or infected skin, or with a known allergy to any ingredient.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can stretch marks be removed completely?
No treatment removes them fully. Boosters make them less visible by improving texture and firmness.
Do new or old stretch marks respond better?
New, red marks respond faster. Older white marks need more sessions and usually a combination of treatments.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 3 to 5, spaced 4 weeks apart, depending on the size and age of the marks.
When will I see results?
Texture improves gradually over several weeks as new collagen forms.
Is there downtime?
Small bumps and mild bruising at the injection points usually settle within a few days.
Can I have it after giving birth?
Yes, once you have recovered from delivery and finished breastfeeding. We will plan the timing with you.
Skin boosters also treat other skin concerns. See the full overview on our Skin Boosters page.
