PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a second-generation regenerative treatment derived from your own blood. Unlike PRP, PRF is processed without anticoagulants, allowing platelets, white blood cells, and growth factors to form a fibrin matrix.

This fibrin network acts as a natural scaffold, slowly releasing growth factors over time, resulting in stronger collagen stimulation, scar remodeling, and skin healing. PRF is especially effective for atrophic acne scars, poor skin texture, and loss of elasticity.

  • A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun at a lower centrifuge speed compared to PRP.
  • This preserves more platelets, white blood cells, and stem-cell-like cells within the fibrin clot.
  • When injected into acne scars, PRF forms a 3D fibrin scaffold that:
